We are a small private motorcycle riding club based out of Hamilton Ontario founded in June of 2005 with members in England, the United States and Canada. We can be found in many odd places from of course Hamilton Ontario, Ellesmere Port England, St. Louis Missouri, Tuscon Arizona, Kapuskasing Ontario and Elliot Lake Ontario.

Just because you don’t often see a lot of us together or hear much from us, don’t believe for one minute that the Black Sheep have disbanded! Do not listen to rumors! We are alive and well and won’t go away! Many of us have moved to other cities either temporarily or permanently due to work relocation or retirement. The Sheep live on both in reality and in spirit. Not only are we a riding club, but the Black Sheep is a principal. Most of us were the “black sheeps” of our families, our circle of friends, our schools, our work and other riding clubs and that’s why we formed.

According to Wikipedia, in the English language, “black sheep” is an idiom used to describe an odd or disreputable member of a group, especially within one’s family. The term has typically been given negative implications, implying waywardness. Sure sounds like us!

Unfortunately, our membership is closed and we do not accept prospects however, we have an extended circle of friends and allies we call Friends of the Sheep.

Membership is on an “invite only” basis solely at the discretion of club officers!

We are not a 1%-er club nor do we want to be one but we respect all clubs. We aren’t exactly a nice family oriented bunch either. We’re a little “in yer face” with a bit of attitude and don’t take any shit! We don’t always ride within the posted speed limits! We like to get where we’re going quick!

We believe in the right to protect family, friends and property…at any cost and by all means!

We started in controversy. We formed based on friendship and trust. We’ve won a few battles. We’ve made many friends and some enemies as well.

After the original 10 founding Black Sheep members, we experienced a couple of expansions. We left the pussy clubs so let’s not be pussies! Quite frankly and since many of us have been riding since the 60′s, we got tired of the “family oriented” clubs many of us were with, that had a guy with a road captain patch on his vest and had probably only been riding for two years, tell us when to ride in single file, how we can ride, how fast we could ride and where we were riding to! I think not!

Now that a handful of years has passed and our clot numbers have diminished somewhat, we have opted to go back to that “in yer face” attitude! We’ve finally and proudly gone back to our original “eat shit ’cause we don’t need any more friends” roots! We are who we are! We do what we want to do! We ride like we feel like riding! We hang with who we want to hang with! If this doesn’t suit you then…”Have a really nice day!”

We are dedicated troop supporters! Many of the Black Sheep have served or are now serving in the forces. They fought and are fighting for the freedoms and liberties we enjoy today!

Don’t be afraid to sit down and have a coffee with us and if we like you, we’ll ask you to join us on some rides!
